ctsquirrelWe got more rain overnight. Lots more. My house and those in the neighborhood were spared the brunt of the flood damage. We have minor water damage from a leaky roof. The library has a flooded basement, and now has refugees from the condos. The main road is flooded. The Senior Citizen's Center is under a a good foot or two of water.
Painesville and Southern cities of Lake County got the worst though. They have five feet of water in some places. Power is shut off in half of the city. Highschools and other community buildings are filling with refugees.
I was planning to go out and take pictures of the water, but it looks like I'm needed at the library. With the refugees in the meeting room and highschool gym, and the Painesville staff not able to come in, they are severely shortstaffed. I have to go.
Well I gues I got the cool off I was looking for. Did you know squirrels can swim?
