   Updated my sticky post. Removed links to crap I don't update anymore and put a link to my Knowem page. Can't guarantee I'll update much of anything anymore.

    I've been in the hospital twice since i last updated. Mostly related to getting my parathyroid glands taken out. I'm feeling a whole lot better now, but it was a tough month there.

    If you want to unfriend there will be no hard feelings. i still read communities, but I have stopped watching most of the shows we may have friended over. I no longer watch NCIS (regular or LA), Law and Order of any kind (I occasionally watched L&O and may watch the last season of L&O:CI), and no longer watch Glee. I do however love Parks and Rec (especially Ron, Ben, and April) and Futurama now. if you feel we may still have something in common, feel free to keep me in the loop. I may update again, I put too much money into this journal to just use it to read ONTD and other communities ad-free. Plus, I've got all those icon-spaces.

So the hits keep on coming. Besides what happened in my last post, there was just a major fire in the town just south of us. 6 or 7 fire departments called in, but it was so bad they just let it burn. They kept it from spreading though. Crazy. Early Friday morning someone tried to burn down one of the apartment buildings on the south end of town. Poured gas down the hallways. It's CRAZY around here. And then I hear they brought back the beer tent at the festival this year. That always livens things up. And we obviously don't need any help doing that.

So how is everyone doing in this hiatus from the network shows. Pick up any good shows that you missed during the season? I'm getting caught up on The Listener. Pretty good show. Really different. (Plus it's filmed in Toronto, a city I've actually been to.) I'm glad it's coming to American TV.
     I dropped In Plain Sight. I came to the realization that i hate Mary. I love Marshall, but it's just not worth 40 minutes of Mary for 2 minutes of Marshall.
     Rescue Me is going strong, I loved the last episode. Sean Garrity is my favorite character on any show ever. I thought it was Goren on Criminal Intent, but Sean is just waaay better.
      Let's see what else do I watch? Daily Show/Colbert Report. I don't watch Colbert as much anymore. Not sure why, I just don't really like his character much anymore.
      Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He needs some new writers badly. I think he's doing okay, it justs seems like he's struggling with the material. Seventh Floor West is pretty good though. A lot of people don't like Higgins the announcer, but I like him. Probably because we have the same sense of humor.

[Error: unknown template qotd] I don't usually do these, the only other one I almost answered was the "Who is your favorite fictional robot?" Easy, Bender from Futurama. (Unless aliens count, because I love Daleks.) Anyway, I remember exactly why I found and joined LJ. I had recently become addicted to Criminal intent and I was looking for icons for my Xanga. (I know, I know. I'm not proud.) I joined so I could receive updates to

ci_graphics . So, blame Vincent D'Onofrio for me being here.

I did the whole CI profiler thing and the trivia. I got 81% (Lieutenant) on the trivia. I missed mostly questions about the new detectives. I got all the Eames/Goren questions right. For the detective profiler they stuck me with Wheeler. Both times that I took it. I suppose we would work fine together, but she's not my favorite. I'd much rather hang with Eames.

I submitted Hudson University as a school to LJ. I don't know if they'll approve it. They have Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. Should I suggest they add Manhattan Institute of Technology too? That's the school all the geeks on CI go to. Well I'll see if they take HU first. Then you can tell all your friends. I'll cross-post it on other L&O communities.

I was grocery shopping yesterday, and who should I see on one of the tabloids but Mike Logan himself. Well Chris Noth. Vacationing in Hawaii. With no shirt on. I bring you, in all unedited glory. Worst Beach Body Chris Noth. (Under a cut for the squeamish)
